Accessible Dispatch launched in September 2012 as a 24/7 accessibility program with the goal of connecting New Yorkers who use wheelchairs and other mobility aids to accessible taxis at no extra cost. With this expanded coverage, both yellow and green drivers are key partners in delivering citywide accessible service.
A press conference will be held this Wednesday; January 24th, 2018 at Brooklyn Borough Hall to announce the expansion of our program. The event starts at 10 am. Doors open at 9:30 am.
Political and city officials along with members of NYC’s disabled community will be in attendance to support the launch.
