The 2017 Burke Wheelchair Games
For over three decades wheelchair athletes of all ages from the tri-state area and beyond have been heading to Burke Rehabilitation Hospital to participate in the annual Wheelchair Games where wheelchair athletes compete in track and field, table tennis and slalom course events throughout the day.
Sports are known for therapeutic benefits and the Wheelchair Games helps disabled athletes build strength, coordination, endurance and self-confidence. The competitive categories include a Futures Division (six and under), a separate Junior Division, Adult and separate Masters levels at age 35 and older, age 50 and older, and the senior Masters division at age 60 and over. Come support your loved ones, cheer on the athletes, or participate in the activities.

The Disabilities Expo
This is the third EXPO with over 70 disability service providers and more than 500 attendees each year thus far. Explore the tools and services out there for persons with disabilities. Get resources and supplies before they hit the open market. Learn valuable information at various training sessions, connect with other attendees and get the advice you need from a wide array of service providers!
